Designed for sites that require a designated treatment space. This setup helps your workplace meet the updated WorkSafeBC first aid room standards effective November 1, 2024.
The kit includes a full selection of wound care supplies, bandages, splints, eye care tools, blankets, and patient documentation materials. All contents arrive individually packaged and boxed for easy organization in your facility’s first aid room. The included treatment chair allows for safe, comfortable care without the footprint of a treatment bed.
Suitable For:
This First Aid Room (with Chair, without Bed), when paired with the appropriate first aid kit and ETV equipment (if required), meets the needs of:
1. Low-risk workplaces with:
a. 51–100 workers (within 20 mins of hospital)
b. 51–75 workers (more than 20 mins to hospital)
2. Moderate-risk workplaces with:
a. 26–75 workers (within 20 mins of hospital)
b. 16–50 workers (more than 20 mins to hospital)
3. High-risk workplaces with:
a. 16–30 workers (within 20 mins of hospital)
b. 11–30 workers (more than 20 mins to hospital)
Note: A compliant Level 2 or 3 First Aid Kit, and ETV equipment may be required depending on your worksite risk classification and travel time to hospital, as outlined in Schedule 3-A.
