This WorkSafeBC First Aid Room package contains the complete set of supplies required under OHS Regulation Part 3.16(1.2) for a designated first aid room, excluding the treatment chair and bed. Designed for high-risk workplaces or sites with larger workforces, this setup ensures you meet the updated WorkSafeBC regulations effective November 1, 2024.
It includes wound care supplies, dressings, bandages, splints, diagnostic tools, blankets, and patient documentation materials—carefully selected to support treatment of a wide range of workplace injuries. The kit arrives boxed, with contents individually packaged and ready for organized storage within your facility.
Note: This package does not include furniture or organizational containers. Treatment chair, bed, and storage items must be added separately to complete your first aid room setup.
Suitable For:
This First Aid Room (without chair or bed), when paired with the appropriate first aid kit and ETV equipment (if required), meets the needs of:
1. Low-risk workplaces with:
a. 51–100 workers (within 20 mins of hospital)
b. 51–75 workers (more than 20 mins to hospital)
2. Moderate-risk workplaces with:
a. 26–75 workers (within 20 mins of hospital)
b. 16–50 workers (more than 20 mins to hospital)
3. High-risk workplaces with:
a. 16–30 workers (within 20 mins of hospital)
b. 11–30 workers (more than 20 mins to hospital)
Note: A compliant chair and/or bed, Level 2 or 3 First Aid Kit, and ETV equipment may be required depending on your worksite risk classification and travel time to hospital, as outlined in Schedule 3-A.
